Can Your Homeschoolers Come Out and Play?

Even as Pennsylvania opens the door for home-schoolers to participate in district extra-curricular activities, Governor Rendell seems to be speaking out of the side of his mouth.

You tell me, is this a backhanded compliment to homeschoolers, or what?
“I found it disheartening that 221 of our school districts do not permit home-school children to engage in school sports, plays, clubs or other programs that promote good social values, integrate our communities and clearly contribute to the positive social development of our children,” said Gov. Rendell.
